One of the best and hardest days in my career came the morning I woke up and allowed myself to realize I did not want to be a teacher. I grew up aspiring to lead an elementary classroom, but after four years of education classes, building relationships with students, planning lessons, and grading papers, I realized that the classroom was not the place for me.
I now use my past experience in developing differentiated lesson plans as a way to create targeted messaging for brand promotion. Much like developing engaging lesson plans for a diverse class of students, effective communication and marketing strategies require an understanding of how to successfully engage stakeholders in ways that are meaningful to them.
